Tre Jacob Fullmer...He's here!!

He's here!!! Well.. he was here almost 5 weeks ago..but let's face it, it's been a little crazy around here these days!  Tre Jacob Fullmer (pronounced "Trey"..we just liked the spelling the other way) was born November 11th 2012 weighing in at 6 pounds 14 ounces, 18 inches long...pure perfection :) And wow..and we IN LOVE!! It amazes me every time I have a baby (and you'd think I'd get it by my fifth!) how much love you can have for every single baby that comes into my family!  Tre is the sweetest most chill baby thus far, (crossing fingers) and we are LOVING having him as our last little baby.  Here is our fun story of how he came into our little world:

The night before Halloween I actually thought I was in labor! Contracting all night, in pain, etc.. and knowing how fast my babies come we decided to go in so it wouldn't turn into an "Austin" experience and barely make it there like with him.  When I got there, I was a a four and defiantly having times contractions minutes apart, but after a couple of hours everything kind of slowed down and I didn't progress at all. Because I was a few days shy of 36 weeks they didn't want to progress the labor...so SENT ME HOME.  I thought for sure I was going to have him anytime after that..but this little guy decided to take his sweet time and I was actually induced a week early!  The morning of my induction everything went really smooth..for awhile :) They started me on pitocin and for hours I had contractions but they weren't that painful so I waited to get my epidural..thinking once they started hurting, that's the time to get it.  Ben kept reminding me of how fast I go and that I was at a four..I should just get it.  But of course I thought I could handle it so I decided to wait.  Once I hit a 6 i started feeling them here and there so decided to get it.  It took the guy 30 min to finish, and during that whole time I started having contractions every minute or two apart and they were getting pretty painful, so they checked me after he was done...I had gone from a 6 to an 8 within that half an hour! They nurse told me it takes about 20 min for the epidural to kick in so one that happened she would come back in and check on me.  Not even after 5 minutes of her leaving I was in EXTREME pain and I knew I had to be close.  So Ben got the nurse, and sure enough..he was RIGHT there and it was go time!  She kept telling me not to push, yelling for nurses to page the doc, grabbing everything to get ready for this little guy!  Now keep in mind, it had only been FIVE minutes since I got my epidural, not 20..ya it didn't work...like AT ALL. I felt EVERYTHING!! Luckily I only had to push through about 4 contractions...but it was the most painful thing ever and there was a moment I didn't think I could physically do it.  Luckily I have the best most supportive husband in the world who talked me through the whole thing and my mom was there too..they helped a ton.  And within a few minutes our beautiful baby boy was in my arms.  He was screaming withing seconds of having him, and the feeling of having them put your new baby on your chest right after you have him...not a feeling in the world better then that.  Seriously I would do that 100 times if I could, just for that experience..LOVE IT.  I of course cried my eyes out, loved on him and couldn't get enough of my new baby boy.  He looks JUST like his daddy..the most out of all my kids actually. Has the LONGEST fingers of all (even the doc said he doesn't thing hes ever seen a baby with that long of fingers. Seriously they are huge haha.. probably going to be my tallest boy)
The other kidos love him to death of course.  He's like a new play toy for Brooklyn and she constantly wants to help and hold him, which I LOVE.  Dru has been a little hard, but of course he was the baby and was used to all of the attention, but hes adjusting and doing much better.  I've can't leave Tre anywhere near him when I'm not around though because he's constantly trying to pick him up and carry him...I've caught him three times in the act of walking across my kitchen floor caring him..talk about a heart attack!!
So, as you can imagine...life with five is insane :) But one thing I've learned about myself is that I do ok with insane.  I do good with craziness, and I'm at my best when I'm staying busy...which this for sure is :)  To make things even CRAZIER..two days after I got home from the hospital the bishop of our "newly split ward" came and called me to be the primary president.. UM...NO WORDS.  I kept asking him if he was for sure that this was an "inspired calling" because there is no way anyone in their right mind would call a new mom of five kids to be that.  He reassured me that he tried to ignore the feeling that I needed to be the president but couldn't push away the feeling anymore and he promised me that I could delegate all of the work to my counselors and take as much time as I needed to get on my feet. So, because I believe these are truly inspired callings, I accepted of course.  It's been crazy calling all new primary teachers since it's a new ward and organizing everything...but so far I've actually enjoyed it and love being in there with my kids..and they are THRILLED to have me in there with them. So we will see how that goes.  The expression people get when they see me with my my five kids and my NEW baby though, and hear that's my calling...priceless haha!
Within the past two months, we have moved into a new house, had a new baby, Thanksgiving, shared my 9th anniversary with my best friend in the whole world, had my 29th birthday, this new calling, and now Christmas...it's been pretty busy around the Fullmer household.  But i the same sentence...all of this has really made me realize how grateful I am for everything I have been blessed with, and it's really opened my eyes to how lucky I truly truly am. I have such an amazing life and couldn't ask for anything better then what I have.  Being a stay at home is the hardest job in the world, and trust me, even though I may soud like it's been all roses...um no.. we have had our emotional melt down and if you could be a fly on our wall for a day, you would probably think I am a crazy person and laugh 24/7 lol.  But during this time of year especially, everything is a little more clearer and makes sense as to why things happen the way they do and how blessed we all are.  Knowing this is my last baby...I think that makes this one a little different and little easier. I think I'm taking more time to enjoy it instead of being so stressed that I'm not getting anything done, that our schedule is all over the place, that I'm exhausted and getting no sleep.  Oh those moments catch up with me for sure, but more then anything I am just loving it and can't seem to get enough of my new little one, and realizing how fast they grow up so loving on the others as well.  Before I know it these little babies are going to be towering over me and too cool for school...so I' taking advantage of it now!  I hope this update finds all of you happy and healthy as well! We love you all and are so grateful to all of those who have showed their love and support during this time.  We are extremely thankful!!! We love you!!  Here are a few pics of our new little gift :)

Pure Crazziness!!

So It's been forever and a day since I last updated our family blog. Why you ask...because it has been PURE CRAZINESS these past couple of months. With being pregnant, summer traveling, school starting, MOVING, unpacking, driving kids in ten different directions twenty times a day it seems like, Ben's work,etc...the list has been going ON AND ON AND ON for our little family! What's even crazier is that we are due to have our fifth little one here in a few short weeks...WOW is all I can think to say somedays when I think about it to much. :) To be honest though, we are finally feeling somewhat settled in our new "life" and with all that has been going on, we have somehow been able to get into a routine, unpacked, settled in, and now mom can start focusing on getting things ready for our last little one to arrive. Yes you heard righ, our LAST little one. :) This pregnancy has absoultly FLOWN BY. People ask all of the time when I'm due, if I've gotten things ready, etc.. I have not done ONE thing to prepare for this little guy, so I'm very excited to say that this next week will be filled with preparing for baby boy! To back up a little bit, we had the best summer ever! This year we purchased the famous "pass of all passes" here that Utah has to offer. Highly recommended by the way to all you mommies out there! We pretty much LIVED at Seven Peaks Water park, Trafalga, and the bowling alley with the kids. American Fork Pool was also a weekly occurance around here. And yes, I did this all on my own most of the time with four little ones and prego...you can imagine the looks I got. lol My older three are awesome water babies though so they did great and there is no better way then fun in the sun entertainemtn to help the days go by. Of course there were a few trips made to Idaho this Summer as well. I had my TEN year class reunion...yes, I'm offically old now! It was way fun seeing old friends and catching up, I could have stayed all night and visited with all of my wonderful MHS classmates. My little sister Taucia had her second little one, so me and the kids made a trip to Idaho Falls to help her paint her adorable nursery and get things ready for when her sweet little Lundyn Lee Cherry arrived. (how cute of a name is that ps!) and even made it back to Rexburg for ben's sister's baby blessing and a wedding for one of his cousins. So yes, we were on the go all summer long you could say! So much fun, and I'm missing it already. If you can't tell, I'm one of those crazy moms who has to be doing something to keep us all constatnly busy...I'm pretty sure we wore the poor husband out by the time school started. Little did he know how crazy life was going to get once that begun!! Brooklyn started 2nd grade this year...oh my gosh my baby is a big girl now! Austin is now in Kindergarten, and Talon has started preschool! All three of them are at different times, and our new house doesn't have a bus system out here. SOOO, lucky me gets to drive all three of them to school and pick them all up at different times...so poor Dru gets drug around all day and put in and out of the car 4-5 times a day just picking up kids! We are in the middle of figuring out some carpool options right now as we are meeting new neighbors...so hopefully that all slows down eventually! But school itself, the kids are LOVING it. We just had paretn teacher night last week and I'm proud to report that their teachers love them all and only had great things to say as well, so that was a relief!! Now onto the they fun stuff...our new house! Moving was qutie the adventure, and boy did it happen fast once it happened. There was a house just a subdivision down from us that we had been keeping our eye one...but we kind of gave up because from what we udnerstood there were tons of other offers on it (short sell) and the primary offer was pretty solid. Well, one night Ben saw online that the realtor had JUST posted that the primary offer fell through and the next best offer she would take. So, of course we ran over bright and early and went through it, fell in love, and by that night they had accenpted our offer and we had a week and a half to be in. Every day that day was something such as an inspection, walk throughs, cleaning, etc... Well, this all happened SOO fast that we had to find someone else to rent our other house becuase we hadn't sold it yet. I had people coming through 3 to 4 times a day, crazies making offers and practically throwing money at us to rent that house, which was great that we could be picky, but it was a little overwheliming. So tryign to show that house, while pack, while get the other house move in ready, while starting my kids in school, ontop of doc appts, and being 7 months pregnant...I overdid it somewhat and had a few complications with the pregnancy. I started bleeding, spotting here and there, and was told I needed to be super careful and slow it down. Perfect timing right? Well needless to say, I have the awesomest friends anyone could ever ask for, and from that moment on, I had HANDFULS of girls coming over daily helping me pack, cleaning the house, cleaning our new house, taking my kids, making us dinners. And the amount of people that came to actually help us move...it brought tears to my eyes and stil does because I am so grateful for such an awesome community and amazing friends. We are truely blessed! We love our house, it is exactly what we wanted and I feel like the luckiest girl that things have worked out the way they have for us. I'm trying to upload our fun summer pics but of course "blogger" is being dumb so I will try again tomorrow! Thank you again to all of you wonderful friends and family who have helped us these past couple of crazy months, we love you and are so gratful for all of you!

It's A.....BOY!!!

Surprise, Suprise, the Fullmer family is having yet..ANOTHER little boy! :) I was able to go in for my 20 week ultra sound this last Tuesday and it was clear as day that this little babe is defiantly a boy! As many as you know, I of course was kind of crossing my fingers for the last one to be a girl...but I cannot tell you how thrilled I am that I am having a healthy baby boy! As I was laying there and she told me it was a boy, I though for sure I would be disappointed hearing those words. But instead, a rush of joy filled me and it all made sense that, that was exactly how it was supposed to be. My sweet princess Brooklyn and my four handsome boys!  I cannot wait to have the mommy/daughter time that just Brooklyn and I now to get to have together, I don't have to share her!  She took the news pretty good actually and I think she's excited about the same things.  My boys are the best of friends and now this one can be just as close as all all of them are. I'm just curious to see what this little guy looks like, as many of you know, all my kids look different! We have used all of our favorite boy names so as of right now, the fun name game has begun! So far this pregnancy is FLYING by and I cannot believe that I am half way done! The sickness still comes and go, but so far the second trimester has been great and it hit at a good time with all of our fun summer plans! With as many fun things we have planned for the rest of the summer, then school starting, Halloween..then baby! It's going to fly by even faster I'm sure! I feel the baby ALL OF THE TIME now, which makes it so much more real, and now I can officially start planning, getting things ready, and preparing for baby number 5!!

Summer Life!

So far this summer has been loads of fun for our little family! I'm pretty sure there have only been a select few days where we have stayed home and just been home.  We have been doing soccer, seven peaks, the library, American Fork pool, BBQs with friends and family, Ben and I went on a little weekend getaway while my sister stayed with my kidos, Dru's 2nd birthday, and not to add that my little sister just had the most beautiful baby girl this week! So we have had a few trips to Idaho to help her get things ready before she had her and are headed there in a few days to meet the newest addition! Rarely do you find my kids indoors at at all, and their tan little bodies can proove it!  I'm pretty sure my boys could be an add for the coppertone bab commercials right now...they crack me up! Soo, here are a few little pics to show off some of our summer fun!  Hope you all are enjoying yours as much as we are enjoying ours!

My little soccer player!

Brooklyn is obsessed with any little animal she
can get her hands on!  Our neighbors just got
some baby chicks so she has been in heaven playing
with them :)

For Father's Day we bought daddy a new grill!  It' been great
and we have enjoyed many a great BBQs with friends and
family with it so far!

Just two of the silly ones doing what they do best

As you can see...sometimes mom wears them out
a little to much and this is what happens on a
daily basis around here

Weekend getaway!!

We try to go on a little trip everytime before we have
another little baby because who knows the next time
it will happen! (besides weekend dates of course)  It was very much
needed and sofun just spending time with my best friend! Love
you husband

One of our many seven peaks days! This place has
become a second home for the Fullmer Family
this summer

This kid cracks me up.  Two of his favorite things:
hats and popcilces.  He can never get enough of either

Another summer favoire..icees, slushies, anything like this
my kids beg for! They love them!

Meet my beautiful new niece Lundyn Lee Cherry!
7 ounces even and 20 1/2 in long.  She's gorgeous and we
are so happy to finally have another girl in the family!

Aunt Kyli got to be there when Lundyn was born..I was
so super jealous! We can't wait to meet her!

My baby boy turning 2! This little man is obsessed
with footballs right now...football anything actually. As you can
see, Grandpa Mcspadden got him a Vikins jeresey that
he wears constanly, and for his birthday we got him a real football...he
has not put it down since!

Just ove 20 weeks!  WHOO!! Half was there!
I cannont tell you how excited I am to be DONE
being pregnant! As much as I love this little guy, I have had 5 kids in
7 years and have pretty much been pregnant since I got
married...time to be done!

So, while Ben and I were gone for our "weekend getaway" there was
a horrible fire that started out here.  I'm sure many of you have
heard how horrible the fires have been out here this year. Our
whole city pretty much had to be evacuated and I fould this out
an hour after our plane landed!  I was freaking out, calling everyone
I knew, having my sister pack bags for my kids,...it was a mess.  Lucky for
us, our little area out of the whole Saratoga Springs city was able to
stay and didn't have to be evacuated.  This is a picture less then
one mile away from my house...pretty serious stuff. How grateful I am
to all of the firefighters out there who do this for a living and protected
my little family while I was away.  You made my life a lot
easier that weekend!

Guess What???!!!!!

Yep, I'm sure you guessed...we are finally making the announcement that baby number five is officially on it's way!!! And yes, it was planned! haha!  Many of you know that I've been struggling for quite some now as to if we were done or not having kids.  Ben was 100% for sure yes we are done...me on the other hand always knew I wanted a big family, always said I wanted 5 kids, and really had a hard time knowing that chapter of my life would be done forever.  I would try and convince myself that yes, we are done. I have 4 kids 7 and under, am running around like a crazy person some days, and with the husband's job plus church calling, it can get overwhelming around the Fullmer household. So yes, we were done.  Then by the next day I would change my mind watching my little girl walk to the bus giggling with her friends, hold my sleeping baby and think "is this really it?", or listen to my funny little 3 year old tell me how much he loved me and how pretty I was for the 15th time that day.  Even listening to my sensitive little 5 year old cry over loosing his Mario Cart game.  I would find myself counting my kidos and find myself feeling like I was missing someone and catch myself thinking that yes, it's going to be hard for the next 5 years, but what about in the next ten when they all get a little older.  Will I regret it and wish I would have had just one more.   It was constantly on my mind, and I knew that was my answer.  Everyone kept saying "you know when you're done."  So how come I didn't know? How come this was so hard for me?  How can some people be fine having one kid and I can't be content with my four I have?? I wanted to be content, I wanted to have that feeling like I was done, but I wasn't feeling that way.  Alot of what was holding me back, and this sounds so dumb, but knowing that there were some people out there that would just think I was a crazy Mormon mom having all of these kids that I wouldn't give my time and attention to..just having babies left and right because that's what we do!!  Nope, not the case here, I really started to feel like there was another little babe up there needing to come to my family and that was what I based my decision off of.  Of course my husband being the business man he is was only seeing the numbers for quite some time.  Freaking out about the financial side of it, wondering how we were going to afford all these teenagers, activities, schooling, and these many boys in a row.. hopefully serving missions.  It would mean a bigger house, a bigger car, etc.. the list goes on and on.  I completely agreed with him and those things stressed me out too..but I see people do it all of the time, and knew that somehow it would all work out.  SOO, after all of that of course my husband gave in and agreed that if I was feeling that strongly about it that we obviously weren't done so that we should start trying to have another.  Let's just say that it happened VERY fast (even though I get pregnant super easy anyway) and that proves to me even more that it was meant to be.

SOOO, due date: November 21st. (yes the same week as my anniversary, birthday, and Thanksgiving so I'm hoping I go early or the doc induces me a week early like he has before.) which makes me 10 weeks pregnant...and I'm SOOOOO happy I'm almost done with the first trimester.  This has probably been the worst so far.  Throwing up a few times a day, and the tiredness is unbelievable.  I know that it's probably because I have 4 other kids to take of this time, and that I'm another year older!  I'm always super anemic when I'm pregnant to so my iron always drops way down which contributes to that as well.  Of course I'm secretly hoping for another girl LOL..coming from a family of all girls I would LOVE Brooklyn to have a sister...but I'm going into knowing that it's probably a boy and if it's a girl I will be pleasantly suprprised! I love being a mommy of boys and I also love the fact that Boroklyn could possibly be my only girl and that we would get to be the only girls doing all of the fun girl stuff together...so either way I'm good!  Right now we are just praying for healthy!!

I still can't believe that I'm in this phase of my life already...my last pregnancy, my last little baby, actually onto the next phase of just raising and enjoying my family.  I remember when my aunts and uncles were my age having kids and thinking that was forever away for me...not so much! LOL!  Life flys by.  It feels like yesterday some days when I talk to my little sister who is a senior in high school right now..I swear I was just there.  My parents are always saying to me and my sisters how they can't believe how fast we grew up, or reminding me in the stressful moments of life to enjoy this stage because even though it can be overwhelming and stressful...it goes by so fast.  I believe that more then ever right now and am really trying to embrace every moment. Being a wife and a mom is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I can't being to thank my other half for the amazing, patient, kind, loving, hilarious, fun, service oriented (the list goes on and on) of a husband and Dad he is and has been.  I couldn't do this without his love and support. (Along with our weekly date night of course...I mean, come on...those keep us sane!)

Soo, here we go. The next chapter in our life!  Baby number five, let the fun begin!  Mommy already loves you and can't wait for another Wednesday to come because that's the day we get to move up another week in your growth!  Cravings like crazy with this one!  At ten weeks I want pickles and salsa all day long...oh and oranges and gummy "anything" candy are also a must.  I'm trying to still run and work out as much as possible (hoping to be able to step that up in the next few weeks and the sickness and tiredness start to wear off, hopefully!) Of course I feel like everything is already starting to turn to mush.  I swear once you see that positive sign every ounce of muscle or toneness that you once had disinegrates.  BUT, of course I have already looked up marathons for the upcoming year and that will come soon enough to motivate me and FINALLY be able to get back in shape knowing I'm done with the pregnancy stage!  As for now I'm just going to enjoy my last pregnancy, be tired when I want to be tired, eat what I want to eat, (trying not to throw it all up 2 seconds later for now anyways) and go through the "nesting mode" like never before!
So baby boy or baby girl...whatever you may be..we love you and can not wait for you to join our little family. 10 weeks down...30 more to go!!
Love~
Mommy

Finally, a little bit of winter!

As most of you know, this winter has been super crazy with hardly any snow.  SOO last week it finally snowed a litte and we took advantage!  Here are my boys (Brooklyn was at school)  plahing in the snow and having  a great time!

Here's Dru..my binkie baby that won't go anywhere without it!  He LOVES LOVES LOVES playing outside so you can imagine his excitment when Mom actually let him go play in the snow.  Grinning from ear to ear!

 Hey boys! Over here!

And this little man can be caught throwing snow at anyone in sight whenever he gets the chance

Of course we have to include our sweet Bella in the picture!  She is 7 months old now and even though you can't tell by the picture, she was going CRAZY not being able to run around with the kids.  Most of the time I let her but lately she's been a little hyper, knocking the kids over, jumping, etc.. so we kept her inside.  She is officially in "puppy training" right now so hopefully that helps!

Taon and Mommy

For Austin's Birthday Grandma Konda gave him some costumes to play super heros in and him and Talon went to towna all night as Captain American and Ninja!

And this of course is how you can find my little Dru most of the time when he is in his highchair..always wants out and never wants to eat!

Birthdays, birthdays, and more birthdays

So, February is quite the birthday month around here at our house!  This year, Austin turned 5, Brooklyn turned 7, and Ben turned 31!  Not to mention it's both of our Dad's birthdays and a nephew and niece's birthday...so it has been a busy month!  Of course they aren't in order, but here are some random pics of a few of the birthday events we did!

Brooklyn wanted a "tangled" birthday so thanks to Walmart she got all the decor she could imagine on that one.  So fun having a girl!

What's this mom?!!

Her Tangled cake!  Every year I always add a little "figurine" toy on top of their cake so they always look forward to seeing what it is.

Me and my girl

Love this picture.  Brooklyn and her Daddy are best friends and she ADORES him

Speaking of best friends...these two are still to this day besties.  They for sure have their moments when they don't get along but for the most part they play really well together.  I hope they always get along!!

Kind of a shaded picture..but here they are!  Funny crazy kids, but I love em

Here's my studly 5 year old super excited about one of his gifts..as you can tell by the expression on his face.  haha

Thanks mom and dad!

Had to throw in a quick pic of my handsome Talon..always smiling LOL

Austin and Dad

Ben turned 31 this year and had a great Birthday!  I made him a home made ice cream cake, we went out to dinner, and had a nice quiet family party afterwards.  I usually try to do something bigger but if any of you know my husband, he usually doesn't love things big and extravagant so we went with simple and did exactly what he wanted.  It was actually really nice and perfect to just spend time as a family.  Love you babe!
