BABY NUMBER FOUR IS ON ITS WAY!!!!
That's right!!! We are excited to announce that baby number four is on it's way! Yes, we are crazy, four kids in 5 1/2 years (that's got to be some kind of record right?) I am due in July 19th , so am still in the early phase, but have been sicker then sick so far with this one and for those of you who have had babies know that number four is much harder to hide then number one or even two for that matter...I fee like my tummy is already starting to pop out, no joke! Anyways, with my wonderful past of miscarriages, I am hoping this little one holds on. To be 100% honest, when i first found out I was super scared and didn't really know how to react, but as the weeks have gone on I've grown to love this little one just as much as my other three and can't wait to hold that sweet baby in my arms and welcome him/her into our little (not so little anymore) family! I know our Father in Heaven has a plan for all of us and I know that this little baby is definitely part of mine.
I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy the holidays with loved ones close by. I can't thank all of my friends and family enough for your love and support. xoxo

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
(Three new posts just so you know!...keep reading!)
Happy Halloween! Fall is my favorite time of year, such perfect weather and so many fun fall activities for families around here. We made it out to Thanksgiving Point this year and went to their famous "Cornbelly's corn maze." They had so many fun activities for the kids there, it was actually pretty amazing. Slides, blow up jumping things, hay rides, etc..my kids loved it and when it was to go they were kicking and screaming.
We had so much fun this year and am so sad that it's already over! This year my sweet Brooklyn was a dancer girl off of High School Musical, Austin was Bumblebee the Transformer, and Talon was a lion. They were the cutest kidos ever and had so much fun. We went to our wards trunk or treat and got more candy then you can imagine! My family was so nice and come up to spend it with us. My mom, dad, sister Kyli, and my other sister Taucia and her fiance' Ryan. During that day we went wedding dress shopping for Taucia and she found the dress of her dreams! Then we came home, went to the trunk or treat, came back home, ate pizza and the Oreo dirt cake and spider cupcakes I made, then watched a scary movie to end the night. Thanks to my family for coming and spending some time with us (especially to my 16 yr old sister Kyli, I know you had to have given up some sweet Halloween parties. I really appreciate it! Oh, and I just have to brag real quick about Kyli, she's a freshman and just made the varsity basketball team! Good job Kyli, I'll be coming home to watch many a games! Love you all, see you in a few weeks for Thanksgiving!

"one day my prince will come..."such a little princess

Loves from my girl

They had such cute things at this place!
Austin was all smiles the whole time

Me and my baby

They went down this slide probably 50 times

cheese!

We aren't really brave enough around here to attempt carving pumpkins yet so we pain them. These are our final products

Ben is seriously awesome. We have probably been through three vacuums since we've lived here. Ben took back our other vacuum about a month ago and when he left I told him not to come home with some cheepo one again or I would scream! He called me and told me that he bought one on sale for $75 and all I said was, "If this one breaks in the next year I'm buying a Dyson." He just laughed and said ok. That night he walked in the door with a Dyson...oh I love him! Thanks for spoiling me babe. Our carpet has never been so clean, I vacuum every day now..it's my favorite chore!

This is Brooklyn's favorite part about Halloween, she LOVES painting the pumpkins, and every year she chooses blue.
LAKE POWELL BABY!!
Yes, that is right ladies and gentleman, I found my new favorite place on earth! Ben and his family have been talking Lake Powell up for YEARS. I never having been, knew it would be fun, but never imagined I would fall in love! Ben and I were invited with some friends of ours to go to Lake Powell the beginning of September and we had an absolute blast! We left the kids home with my little Sister for the weekend, so that made it even better! I loved spending some much needed time with my husband and getting to know 'us' again. The weather was perfect, in the 80's-90's and nights were gorgeous. We skiied, wakeboarded, watched the stars, played games, ate lots of food, swam, etc..It was a dream. I decided I love Lake Powell so much because of the peacness of it. It was so beautiful, serisously breath taking. All of the red rock and beautiful scenery was seriusly amazing. We slept in a tent, (which I love), layed out, read books, slept, it was fun. (I want to go back!) Even though i missed my kids, it was a much needed vacation and hope to do it again in the near future. Thanks friends, we had a blast!
Love you babe

Alot of horseshoe competitions between the husbands..you all know mine is VERY competitive, so I won't say out loud who won. (Good job Matt!)
Awww
I asked Ben to paint my toenails thinking he would just laugh, but much to my suprise he did it! And actually did a pretty good job! Husband of the year award.. I'm pretty sure!

Jill Riley and the gorgeous red rock

Smile!

Can you see us? Ben and I climbed this little Mountain and are sitting by that big rock and green bush. We dove out of the boat, swam over to it and climbed, then just did some scenery watching.

Our humble abode

Wishing this was our abode...someday honey, someday..

Kisses

END OF SUMMER UPDATE
So sweet of my cute husband..awhile back I was telling him how being a stay at home mom we are on different pages sometimes. After a hard day of work, he wants to come home, relax, just be around me and the kids, watch some tv (and sports of course)..and then there is me who stays home all day, does daycare twice a week so when my days are done, I'm ready to get out, be social, around him and friends. Don't get me wrong, there are definite days and nights where I want nothing more then to just stay home and do nothing, but sometimes I think everyone needs a little change of pace for sure. SOOOO, Ben works with a friend of his named Dennis. Dennis is always telling Ben about his elk hunting when it's that time of year and Ben has been saying for a long time how it would be fun to go and watch him scout some out sometime. After work one night he called me and told me to meet him out at his work in hiking clothes. We got in his truck and in climbed Dennis. He drove us up the canyon and we followed him for miles and miles as we called for Elk and anything else we could find. It was so beautiful and fun. We didn't see any Elk but did spot a Mouse but only for a few short seconds. It rained towards then end, but it was still so fun, and as you can see we came across an amazing rainbow half way through. Thanks to my creative husband for caring enough about me to do cute things like that here and there. Thanks to Dennis too, we had a blast!
The rest of these pictures are of my adorable ballerina! Brooklyn not only started preschool this year, but also joined her first dance class! She has been asking me for over a year now to put her in dance, so I finally did and boy does she love it! Her first day she was a little nervous but after that she was hooked! She dances around the house all day and tells everyone that she's in dance. I'm so happy to have such a sweet little girl, she is at such a fun age and makes me laugh every day! It's so fun to dress up, paint nails and go to dance! Love her so much

Look who turned one!
That's right! Last Saturday my sweet little baby boy turned one year old! I can't believe how fast time has flown. Talon has seriously been a dream from the day he was born. I love all of my kids the same of course...but I have always called him my golden baby. He made his entrance into our lives august 22nd 2008 at 6pm. He was 7 lbs. 14 ounces and 22 1/2 inches long..yes I have long babies! From the second they put him in my arms I was in love and haven't stopped feeling that way this whole year. Through all the restless nights, the crying, the feedings, the ear infections, the teething, etc...there hasn't been a day that has gone by that he hasn't melted my heart. You can ask anyone, Talon is the most smiley little boy there is, and when you do get one of the precious smiles, he lights up the whole room and makes my day!
Here are some of Talons likes/dislikes at one:
Loves: Brooklyn and Austin..follows them around all day! He loves to say bye bye..and wave at every person even if it's just someone passing them in the grocery store. He loves to cuddle with mom and dad. He loves his Binky and his bottle. He loves jerky...I know, but it's great for teething! He loves his naps...he dives for his crib when I take him in his room. He loves to play around outside and get dirty. And he LOVES ice cream..if its' around, beware! He loves his blue star blanket!
Dislikes: He HATES getting his diaper changed...it is a serious ordeal around here these days. He's soooo super strong and I can't pin him down half of the time! He hates taking Medicine. He hates the doctor...cries already as soon as he walks in the door!
Talon, thank you for being such the perfect baby. I love you more then you will ever know and hope I have many many years to be able to show you. Sweet dreams baby boy, can't wait for the smiles in the morning.

Big Birthday morning!!! I know he had no idea what was going on...but we made a big deal anyways!
He didn't know what to think about opening presents..but he had lots of help. Oh, and pls ignore the fact that there is christmas paper involved.

I'm not actually sure if he even got to open any of his gifts....

Went to hit a bucket of balls for the big day...or just play with them...same thing!

I'm Back!!!
I feel like I start out my new posts with the same line..."I know it's been forever since my last post..." blah blah blah! Summer has been crazy for us and after awhile thinking of all of the things I need to post and pictures that I have taken that need to be on here...it gets a little overwhelming! Anyways, summer has been so much fun for us this year and I have so much to share about our families little adventures.
A couple weeks into summer Ben decided we needed a little break from every day life and some time just for me and him...so we went on a cruise! We booked this cruise a few months prior with some of Ben's Idaho High school friends (who I am just as good friends with their wives actually so I should just say my friends!) and it was a blast! The first night we drove to Vegas and played there all night, then off to San Diego where the ship took off! It ported in Ensanada Mexico and the Catalina Islands. The weather wasn't the greatest, we had one really good day, but it was still so much fun. Sleeping in, eating, going to shows, eating, shopping, eating, taking naps whenever we wanted, eating...did I mention the eating part? As you all read from the earlier post, my wonderful Grandpa who I miss so so much had passed away a few days before we were scheduled to leave. I didn't know how much fun I would have dealing with all of that and leaving my family during this time. But Ben is seriously the best most loving husband in the world and knew that cruise was exactly what I needed during that time. And he was exactly right. We were with the best group of people and had such a good time. Thank you to Ben's sis Tiara and my mom for taking my kidos, they were missed very much...but it was much needed time for Ben and I and we miss it already! As many as you know I did end up running that Wasatch Back Marathon with that team of girls from my ward. It was one week after we got home from our cruise, so I was nervous about that but it worked out great. It was 188 miles total and we all ran 3 separate legs during different times over a 24 hour span.(Maybe more then that actually) It started in Logan Utah and ended up in Park City, Utah...so quite a long ways. It was the hardest, dumbest, worst, most wonderful, awesome, rewardful experience of my life! I trained for 7 long months and even though it was gruesome most days (only because the only time I had to train was at 5 am because Ben has to work at 6-630 am) it was so good for me. Even though during the whole experience, as much as I said I hated it and would never do it again...I missed it the second it was over and will definitely do it again. I would say the hardest part was the no sleeping part. Imagine this...2 vans of 12 girls, 6 in each van. The first van goes and all the girls in that car take turns running their legs, then our first runner takes off when their last runner finishes..then our van goes and all of those 6 girls take turns running theirs. There wasn't alot of time in between to get sleep because we were either running or driving to the next stop! We lived off of bagels, ppj, and gu for 2 days..and the porta potties got old REALLY fast! The hardest part of the race for me was my last leg which was called the "Ragnar leg" It was like climbing Mt. Everest!!" The incline was almost not even runnable and was super challenging...I lost 2 toenails and was shaking by the time I finished...but it was amazing. Anyways, I made some amazing new friends during all of this and can't tell you how much I learned about myself, my body, my faith, my strength, and my limits. Thank you to all of the girls who pushed me and believed in me! I love you all! For the fourth of July we were in Rexburg, Idaho. My mom's family always has a family reunion over that time. Ben also had his ten year class reunion that same weekend so we were able to do both! We went to the Rexburg parade which we love to do every summer. (mainly because everyone jokes that Ben should be the mayor of Rexburg because he knows EVERYONE there...so we visit with everyone during that time) and then went the Idaho Falls fireworks that night. My kids loved it! Now to the next part of our summer! We took our little family of 5 camping for the first time this summer! My family had a reunion up in Idaho at Heise. It was so much fun and my kids did awesome. We camped in tents, went swimming, visited with family, it was great! I have the neatest family and loved spending time with all of them. SO, we are now home and enjoying it! Sometime summer feels like we go go go, and it's all fun stuff but I feel like we need some major down time afterwards! My kids seem to grow a whole foot every summer, and believe it or not, Talon will be ONE YEARS OLD this Saturday! Wow, where has the time gone? I love my family so much and even though sometimes it's super stressful being a mom of three kids 4 and under...I would not take a second of it back, I have enjoyed every moment and honestly feel so blessed to have the life I do. I hope you all have enjoyed your summer as much as we have! Oh and beware, below are just a whole bunch of pics of our wonderful summer...sorry, it's really long!!!
