It's A.....BOY!!!

Surprise, Suprise, the Fullmer family is having yet..ANOTHER little boy! :) I was able to go in for my 20 week ultra sound this last Tuesday and it was clear as day that this little babe is defiantly a boy! As many as you know, I of course was kind of crossing my fingers for the last one to be a girl...but I cannot tell you how thrilled I am that I am having a healthy baby boy! As I was laying there and she told me it was a boy, I though for sure I would be disappointed hearing those words. But instead, a rush of joy filled me and it all made sense that, that was exactly how it was supposed to be. My sweet princess Brooklyn and my four handsome boys!  I cannot wait to have the mommy/daughter time that just Brooklyn and I now to get to have together, I don't have to share her!  She took the news pretty good actually and I think she's excited about the same things.  My boys are the best of friends and now this one can be just as close as all all of them are. I'm just curious to see what this little guy looks like, as many of you know, all my kids look different! We have used all of our favorite boy names so as of right now, the fun name game has begun! So far this pregnancy is FLYING by and I cannot believe that I am half way done! The sickness still comes and go, but so far the second trimester has been great and it hit at a good time with all of our fun summer plans! With as many fun things we have planned for the rest of the summer, then school starting, Halloween..then baby! It's going to fly by even faster I'm sure! I feel the baby ALL OF THE TIME now, which makes it so much more real, and now I can officially start planning, getting things ready, and preparing for baby number 5!!

Summer Life!

So far this summer has been loads of fun for our little family! I'm pretty sure there have only been a select few days where we have stayed home and just been home.  We have been doing soccer, seven peaks, the library, American Fork pool, BBQs with friends and family, Ben and I went on a little weekend getaway while my sister stayed with my kidos, Dru's 2nd birthday, and not to add that my little sister just had the most beautiful baby girl this week! So we have had a few trips to Idaho to help her get things ready before she had her and are headed there in a few days to meet the newest addition! Rarely do you find my kids indoors at at all, and their tan little bodies can proove it!  I'm pretty sure my boys could be an add for the coppertone bab commercials right now...they crack me up! Soo, here are a few little pics to show off some of our summer fun!  Hope you all are enjoying yours as much as we are enjoying ours!

My little soccer player!

Brooklyn is obsessed with any little animal she
can get her hands on!  Our neighbors just got
some baby chicks so she has been in heaven playing
with them :)

For Father's Day we bought daddy a new grill!  It' been great
and we have enjoyed many a great BBQs with friends and
family with it so far!

Just two of the silly ones doing what they do best

As you can see...sometimes mom wears them out
a little to much and this is what happens on a
daily basis around here

Weekend getaway!!

We try to go on a little trip everytime before we have
another little baby because who knows the next time
it will happen! (besides weekend dates of course)  It was very much
needed and sofun just spending time with my best friend! Love
you husband

One of our many seven peaks days! This place has
become a second home for the Fullmer Family
this summer

This kid cracks me up.  Two of his favorite things:
hats and popcilces.  He can never get enough of either

Another summer favoire..icees, slushies, anything like this
my kids beg for! They love them!

Meet my beautiful new niece Lundyn Lee Cherry!
7 ounces even and 20 1/2 in long.  She's gorgeous and we
are so happy to finally have another girl in the family!

Aunt Kyli got to be there when Lundyn was born..I was
so super jealous! We can't wait to meet her!

My baby boy turning 2! This little man is obsessed
with footballs right now...football anything actually. As you can
see, Grandpa Mcspadden got him a Vikins jeresey that
he wears constanly, and for his birthday we got him a real football...he
has not put it down since!

Just ove 20 weeks!  WHOO!! Half was there!
I cannont tell you how excited I am to be DONE
being pregnant! As much as I love this little guy, I have had 5 kids in
7 years and have pretty much been pregnant since I got
married...time to be done!

So, while Ben and I were gone for our "weekend getaway" there was
a horrible fire that started out here.  I'm sure many of you have
heard how horrible the fires have been out here this year. Our
whole city pretty much had to be evacuated and I fould this out
an hour after our plane landed!  I was freaking out, calling everyone
I knew, having my sister pack bags for my kids,...it was a mess.  Lucky for
us, our little area out of the whole Saratoga Springs city was able to
stay and didn't have to be evacuated.  This is a picture less then
one mile away from my house...pretty serious stuff. How grateful I am
to all of the firefighters out there who do this for a living and protected
my little family while I was away.  You made my life a lot
easier that weekend!

Guess What???!!!!!

Yep, I'm sure you guessed...we are finally making the announcement that baby number five is officially on it's way!!! And yes, it was planned! haha!  Many of you know that I've been struggling for quite some now as to if we were done or not having kids.  Ben was 100% for sure yes we are done...me on the other hand always knew I wanted a big family, always said I wanted 5 kids, and really had a hard time knowing that chapter of my life would be done forever.  I would try and convince myself that yes, we are done. I have 4 kids 7 and under, am running around like a crazy person some days, and with the husband's job plus church calling, it can get overwhelming around the Fullmer household. So yes, we were done.  Then by the next day I would change my mind watching my little girl walk to the bus giggling with her friends, hold my sleeping baby and think "is this really it?", or listen to my funny little 3 year old tell me how much he loved me and how pretty I was for the 15th time that day.  Even listening to my sensitive little 5 year old cry over loosing his Mario Cart game.  I would find myself counting my kidos and find myself feeling like I was missing someone and catch myself thinking that yes, it's going to be hard for the next 5 years, but what about in the next ten when they all get a little older.  Will I regret it and wish I would have had just one more.   It was constantly on my mind, and I knew that was my answer.  Everyone kept saying "you know when you're done."  So how come I didn't know? How come this was so hard for me?  How can some people be fine having one kid and I can't be content with my four I have?? I wanted to be content, I wanted to have that feeling like I was done, but I wasn't feeling that way.  Alot of what was holding me back, and this sounds so dumb, but knowing that there were some people out there that would just think I was a crazy Mormon mom having all of these kids that I wouldn't give my time and attention to..just having babies left and right because that's what we do!!  Nope, not the case here, I really started to feel like there was another little babe up there needing to come to my family and that was what I based my decision off of.  Of course my husband being the business man he is was only seeing the numbers for quite some time.  Freaking out about the financial side of it, wondering how we were going to afford all these teenagers, activities, schooling, and these many boys in a row.. hopefully serving missions.  It would mean a bigger house, a bigger car, etc.. the list goes on and on.  I completely agreed with him and those things stressed me out too..but I see people do it all of the time, and knew that somehow it would all work out.  SOO, after all of that of course my husband gave in and agreed that if I was feeling that strongly about it that we obviously weren't done so that we should start trying to have another.  Let's just say that it happened VERY fast (even though I get pregnant super easy anyway) and that proves to me even more that it was meant to be.

SOOO, due date: November 21st. (yes the same week as my anniversary, birthday, and Thanksgiving so I'm hoping I go early or the doc induces me a week early like he has before.) which makes me 10 weeks pregnant...and I'm SOOOOO happy I'm almost done with the first trimester.  This has probably been the worst so far.  Throwing up a few times a day, and the tiredness is unbelievable.  I know that it's probably because I have 4 other kids to take of this time, and that I'm another year older!  I'm always super anemic when I'm pregnant to so my iron always drops way down which contributes to that as well.  Of course I'm secretly hoping for another girl LOL..coming from a family of all girls I would LOVE Brooklyn to have a sister...but I'm going into knowing that it's probably a boy and if it's a girl I will be pleasantly suprprised! I love being a mommy of boys and I also love the fact that Boroklyn could possibly be my only girl and that we would get to be the only girls doing all of the fun girl stuff together...so either way I'm good!  Right now we are just praying for healthy!!

I still can't believe that I'm in this phase of my life already...my last pregnancy, my last little baby, actually onto the next phase of just raising and enjoying my family.  I remember when my aunts and uncles were my age having kids and thinking that was forever away for me...not so much! LOL!  Life flys by.  It feels like yesterday some days when I talk to my little sister who is a senior in high school right now..I swear I was just there.  My parents are always saying to me and my sisters how they can't believe how fast we grew up, or reminding me in the stressful moments of life to enjoy this stage because even though it can be overwhelming and stressful...it goes by so fast.  I believe that more then ever right now and am really trying to embrace every moment. Being a wife and a mom is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I can't being to thank my other half for the amazing, patient, kind, loving, hilarious, fun, service oriented (the list goes on and on) of a husband and Dad he is and has been.  I couldn't do this without his love and support. (Along with our weekly date night of course...I mean, come on...those keep us sane!)

Soo, here we go. The next chapter in our life!  Baby number five, let the fun begin!  Mommy already loves you and can't wait for another Wednesday to come because that's the day we get to move up another week in your growth!  Cravings like crazy with this one!  At ten weeks I want pickles and salsa all day long...oh and oranges and gummy "anything" candy are also a must.  I'm trying to still run and work out as much as possible (hoping to be able to step that up in the next few weeks and the sickness and tiredness start to wear off, hopefully!) Of course I feel like everything is already starting to turn to mush.  I swear once you see that positive sign every ounce of muscle or toneness that you once had disinegrates.  BUT, of course I have already looked up marathons for the upcoming year and that will come soon enough to motivate me and FINALLY be able to get back in shape knowing I'm done with the pregnancy stage!  As for now I'm just going to enjoy my last pregnancy, be tired when I want to be tired, eat what I want to eat, (trying not to throw it all up 2 seconds later for now anyways) and go through the "nesting mode" like never before!
So baby boy or baby girl...whatever you may be..we love you and can not wait for you to join our little family. 10 weeks down...30 more to go!!
Love~
Mommy

Finally, a little bit of winter!

As most of you know, this winter has been super crazy with hardly any snow.  SOO last week it finally snowed a litte and we took advantage!  Here are my boys (Brooklyn was at school)  plahing in the snow and having  a great time!

Here's Dru..my binkie baby that won't go anywhere without it!  He LOVES LOVES LOVES playing outside so you can imagine his excitment when Mom actually let him go play in the snow.  Grinning from ear to ear!

 Hey boys! Over here!

And this little man can be caught throwing snow at anyone in sight whenever he gets the chance

Of course we have to include our sweet Bella in the picture!  She is 7 months old now and even though you can't tell by the picture, she was going CRAZY not being able to run around with the kids.  Most of the time I let her but lately she's been a little hyper, knocking the kids over, jumping, etc.. so we kept her inside.  She is officially in "puppy training" right now so hopefully that helps!

Taon and Mommy

For Austin's Birthday Grandma Konda gave him some costumes to play super heros in and him and Talon went to towna all night as Captain American and Ninja!

And this of course is how you can find my little Dru most of the time when he is in his highchair..always wants out and never wants to eat!

Birthdays, birthdays, and more birthdays

So, February is quite the birthday month around here at our house!  This year, Austin turned 5, Brooklyn turned 7, and Ben turned 31!  Not to mention it's both of our Dad's birthdays and a nephew and niece's birthday...so it has been a busy month!  Of course they aren't in order, but here are some random pics of a few of the birthday events we did!

Brooklyn wanted a "tangled" birthday so thanks to Walmart she got all the decor she could imagine on that one.  So fun having a girl!

What's this mom?!!

Her Tangled cake!  Every year I always add a little "figurine" toy on top of their cake so they always look forward to seeing what it is.

Me and my girl

Love this picture.  Brooklyn and her Daddy are best friends and she ADORES him

Speaking of best friends...these two are still to this day besties.  They for sure have their moments when they don't get along but for the most part they play really well together.  I hope they always get along!!

Kind of a shaded picture..but here they are!  Funny crazy kids, but I love em

Here's my studly 5 year old super excited about one of his gifts..as you can tell by the expression on his face.  haha

Thanks mom and dad!

Had to throw in a quick pic of my handsome Talon..always smiling LOL

Austin and Dad

Ben turned 31 this year and had a great Birthday!  I made him a home made ice cream cake, we went out to dinner, and had a nice quiet family party afterwards.  I usually try to do something bigger but if any of you know my husband, he usually doesn't love things big and extravagant so we went with simple and did exactly what he wanted.  It was actually really nice and perfect to just spend time as a family.  Love you babe!

Quick little Update

So I feel ever since Christmas hit we have been running around this place like crazy people and I haven't had two seconds to sit down and post anything.  I guess since I have two sick kids and a husband (which is worse then a kid by the way when they are sick!!) now is a good time to do a quick update.  January few by of course just trying to recover from the holidays, and February...wow, talk about a birthdays month at the Fullmer household.  January 31st Austin turned 5, February 9th Ben turned 31, February 15 Brooklyn turned 7, both of our dad's birthdays, Valentines day, etc..it just goes on and on!  Sooo, the next post I will be working on will be on all of the birthday updates, but for now here are just a few random pics of things going around here of my cuties!

Daddy and Dru..this was taken just a few days ago, and yes, Dru is STILL a Daddy's boy.  I'm not kidding, if Dad is around this kid wants nothing to do with mom, breaks my heart!! And not only does he want his daddy when he is around, but he MAULS him, clings to him, and squeezes those chubby little arms around him like you would not imagine.  Of course Ben LOVES it

This pic is of my GORGEOUS 7 year old.  LOOK AT THAT HAIR!!  Everyone is always commenting on Brooklyn's thick hair, but wow, talk about thick.  Growing up I always had thick hair which I hated!! But, that was before they came out with straighteners or any good type of hair products so it was such a pain.  We make sure to have fun with her hair though and this was taken right before her dance recital..which she rocked by the way!  She is such a light in my life and words can't explain how much I love this little one.

And Talon..oh boy where to start with Talon.  This is a typical picture of him.  This kid runs and runs and runs 24/7 all day long, refusing to nap, and then just crashes the second he stops. And of course he has to has his star blankie wherever he goes..

Talon is also my dresser upper, I can get him dressed and ready for the day but you can bet no matter what, a few hours later he will come upstairs in something such as this.  He is my true blue boy through and through and even though he wears me out like crazy...I love him to the moon and back.

So I'm pretty sure Ben won husband of the year award for Valentines this year by surprising me and taking me to a Lady Antebellum concert here in Utah!! We had FANTASTIC seats and it was soooo much fun!  They are my favorite right now and on top of just them, Darius Rucker and Thompson Square opened for them, which I love too so it was so great!  Here we are right before the concert started..seriously such a fun night!

We don't get many family pictures these days anymore ..it's very rare to have all 4 kids sitting together long enough to get them so I had to throw this one in there.  On our way home from Christmas Vaca with Ben's family we stopped in at my Uncle Brad's house the rest of the McSpadden clan for a Xmas party. Of course they spoiled my kids like crazy and we had a blast!  We left about 10pm that night from Pocatello, the kids fell right asleep and believe it or not Ben and I had 4 hour conversation to ourselves the whole way home..highlight of my weekend haha!

This year I signed Austin and Talon up for Itty Bitty Ball through the Legacy Center out here and they LOVED it.  Three times a week I took them down there for an hour long basketball came where they were put into teams and then they all rotated through stations.  It worked out perfect because there is a track above the courts so I brought my jogging stroller and ran with Dru in that a few miles around and was able to watch the boys play at the same time.  They did awesome and looked forward to it every day.  Here is them with the mascot on the last day!

My little girl is loosing teeth left and right..and breaking the tooth fairy's bank in the meantime!  This is her super excited after having pulled out her second top tooth..that makes 4 soon to be 5 total!  She's the cutest toothless little girl I've ever seen (of course!) and I love the lisp she now has whenever she talks, it's adorable.

 Here's Talon making a basket!

Austin getting his haircut!  This kid has come a long ways in this which shows how big my babies are getting.  Getting Austin's hair cut used to be a nightmare!  He had alot of ear infections as a baby so HATED when anyone would come close to his ears.  We used to have to hold him down and my mom, being a hairdresser and all,  refused after awhile to be the one to do it because he wouldn't go to her for days afterwards!  Not anymore!  He he is all studly like getting trimmed up by our favorite friend Chaundi!  We love her!!

My baby is getting sooo big.  Here he is opening a Xmas present at uncle Brad's house..football in hand of course.  If there is a ball in the room, he owns it!  Love him

Ok, is this not the most BEAUTIFUL baby you have ever seen!  I would like to introduce you to my new little Nephew Keaton Skidmore

Fullmer Family Christmas letter 2011

Time again for the annual Fullmer family Christmas letter!  Every year when I sit down to write this letter I cannot believe that it’s already time...where did the year go?!  We thought we would send just a quick update as to what is going on in our busy lives and share with each of you what each person in our little family is up to!

Ben- Ben is amazing, I still don’t know how he does everything he does.  He is still working at Im-Flash Technologies as a Purchasing Manager and enjoys his job.  He works some long hours and crazy days, but enjoys the people he works with and likes what he does.   Ben and I were able to go to Lake Powell this summer with some friends as a “couple’s getaway” and I’m pretty sure if it was up to my cliff diving husband...we would live there year round.  He managed to get in a little bit of golf this summer (not as much as he wanted of course!) but some, and is now starting up the basketball season enjoying that.  About this time last year he was called to be the 2nd counselor in the bishopric, so that keeps him super busy with all of the meetings, ward activities, and youth things.  On top of all of that, he is the world’s best husband, dad, and friend to all of us and everyone around him!
Aubrey- Of course mom feels like her head is spinning sometimes with everything she has going on!  Four kids under the age of 6 is not an easy task...but I do enjoy it and wouldn’t trade it for any other job in the world.  Somehow in the midst of being a full time mom I managed to train for my first full marathon!  It was amazingly hard and very time consuming but it was a goal I set for myself and was super happy it was accomplished!  Besides running, the hobbies as of late have been making bows, crafts here and there, scrapbooking,  and of course my favorite night of the week…date night!  Others include the daily tasks of being a taxi driver for all of the kidos, helping in the kids’ classrooms, keeping up with the house and everything around here…I feel oh so blessed to be the mom and wife of these amazing people in my life!
Brooklyn- I still can’t believe my oldest is almost 7 yrs. old!!  Brooklyn is the light of our little family and makes us smile each and every day.  She is quite the big sister of her 3 little brothers and is also a wonderful helper to mom throughout the day.  She is involved in dance this year at jazz n place and we are so excited for her Christmas recital.  This year we experienced T-ball for the first time with Brooklyn, and even though she is quite the little athlete…we have come to learn that T-ball is not for her and only made it through half of the season haha.  She was the only girl on her team and she did NOT love that so it was a short and sweet T-ball season!  Brooklyn had some huge accomplishments this year, one of which was learning to ride a two wheeler!  Dad took her to the church parking lot and after a few hard landings here and there...she got the hang of it!  She spent the entire summer on that bike and already is asking when it will be warm enough for her to start riding again.  Brooklyn is in the 1st grade this year and LOVES it!  She is doing amazing in reading, math, and making lots of little girlfriends!  Like I said earlier, she is the best little helper and although mom has to remind her sometimes that “she is not the mom” haha… she loves her brothers and mom and dad sure are proud of her!
Austin- What a sweet little 4 yr. old we have on our hands here.  Austin is the best kid and we are so grateful he is our first born boy to pave the way for his other little brothers!  Austin is in preschool this year and I cannot tell you how much he loves his teacher Ms. Kelly and how great he is doing.  My 4 yr. old is already reading here and there and every day comes home from school so excited to tell us about what he learned that day.  Austin is the best big brother ever and is sooo good with little kids.  He chases his brothers around all day and plays so good with them.  I love watching my boys grow up together and see them get along so well.  Austin also loves riding his bike, is obsessed with the Wii right now and if it was up to him he would be play Mario Brothers ALL DAY LONG!  He is currently in swimming lessons and becoming quite the little fish!  Austin also did T-ball this year, but he actually really liked it.  Anything sports Austin Loves…hmmm wonder who he gets that from?   We are so proud of our little Austie and hope he knows how much we love him!
Talon- Oh Talon…my crazy little 3 years old ha ha…where to start? As of late, Talon has been quite the big boy around here!  Talon has definitely grown up a lot this past year and keeps mom wondering how a three year old can be so busy and have so much attitude!  A little bit about Talon, he loves anything that has to do with super heroes!  Batman, spider man, green lantern, buzz light year, ninja turtles….you name it, he loves it!  He LOVES to dress up in all the super hero costumes and wears them all day long!  He loves his older brother Austin and is constantly trying to keep up with him and be just as big.  I have to say though that out of all of the kids, Talon is a huge mommy’s boy and I LOVE it.  He is constantly telling me he loves me, wanting to sit on my lap, be right by me, hold my hand, etc. Love it!  He is a great big brother to Dru, and loves that Dru is getting old enough to start wrestling and playing with him.  We love Talon to pieces and are so grateful he has added so much fun to our little family!
Dru- My baby is 18 months old!! I say that without trying to cry…I still can’t believe how big he is getting!  Dru is so much fun…sooooo busy, but so much fun!  I swear I am chasing him all day long and he is constantly into EVERYTHING.  We call him “Dru the destroyer” because I kid you not, you turn your head for 2 seconds and he has either pulled something out, broken something, or is doing something he should not be doing!  (example: we went to visit ben at work yesterday and as soon as I set him down he ran through the security breach thing that nobody can go through, set off the alarms in the whole place, and I couldn’t go after him so had to watch 2 security guards run after him…as he was giggling super loud by the way! (A moment that was hopefully not a glance into his future!) We have so many funny stories like that I could go on and on!  He keeps us on our toes that’s for sure!  Ben’s favorite part about this little one is that he is a Daddy’s boy ALL THE WAY!  If Ben is in the room…he wants nothing to do with you!  The hard part is during sacrament on Sunday when mom is sitting there with all 4 kids by herself with daddy on the stand.  If Dru realizes at all “Oh Dad’s up there!” …it’s over.  The whole rest of that hour is spent pinning him down and bribing him with treats to stop trying to get away from mom! We are having so much fun with this little boy and want him to stop growing up so fast!
Well, there you have it…there’s our little family in a nutshell!  I cannot express in words how much you all mean to us and how grateful we are to you for your kind and loving examples.  We hope during this Christmas season we all stop and take a moment to remember our Savoir, his birth, and all he has blessed our lives with. To teach our little ones and share with them the importance and true meaning this Christmas season brings. We love you all and wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
Love- The Fullmer Family
(Ben, Aubrey, Brooklyn, Austin, Talon, and Dru)
